This is the day that we blessed our little man.
And here he is in his cute little outfit we borrowed from a neighbor. His coat had little tails on it...can we say adorable!
Here he is with one of his favorite cousins...Ellie Bo Bellie! She wanted to hold him so bad.
Here is Tayde-ster with his awesome Uncle Cody. Cody is leaving for his mission this week and is headed to Ghana!!! Good luck Cody! Work hard out there and you will be an amazing missionary! We wish you were here with us. (Cody went to school here at byuh with us last year before Tayden was born.) We love you!
We hope you are all having a great January and that somebody is enjoying snow for us. It is crazy warm and humid here! So just as Tyler and I think that we are starting to figure Tayden out he changes on us again. Last night Tayden woke up screaming an hour and a half after he went down. Pretty sure our entire building heard him. We thought it might be because he is a sick or maybe he had some gas. We found out that he might be teething at only 3 1/2 months old! I never thought I would hate teeth so much. He has been drooling all over the place and the other day he left gum marks on his own arms from chewing on them. Luckily we were given one of those ice cube holder teething toys for Christmas. He sat there and loved having the ice on his gums. We put a tiny bit of Orajel on his gums and he calmed down within a couple of minutes and soon was fast asleep. Whew! What an adventure! Kids sure keep you on your toes (especially when they can't talk). And we are now in the teeth-haters club (pretty sure all parents have joined that club at one time or another).
Today I took him to the doctor because a couple hours after the teeth incident he woke up crying with a fever of 101.3. He has had a cough for a couple days and we just wanted to get him checked out to make sure he is okay. His pediatrician is amazing and gave us some stuff to help clear out his sinuses and nose. We have found out it is not fun at all to have a sick kid. Hearing him cough makes me sad. Hopefully tonight will be much better.

Other exciting things that have happened:
- We had to take down the changing table that attaches to Tayden's pack and play because he is too big for it. He now weighs 16 lbs. 11 oz. This kid sure loves to eat!
- Tayden loves looking at books so every night we read him part of a book with pictures. (thanks to everyone that gave us great books for Christmas!)
- He has started to make the motor boat noise where you press your lips together and blow. He loves it when we do it and is just starting to copy us :) It's so cute.
- He continues to giggle even though he is sick. It's like he is trying to pretend he doesn't feel horrible. He just tries to be a happy little boy :)
- He loves listening to music and we play it for him quite a bit. He loves to fall asleep to Jack Johnson. We also sing to him but a few days ago I lost my voice so we have been sticking to listening to the Ipod.
- He can roll from his front to his back now which is exciting. It's mainly because he hates being on his stomach so he pushes, kicks, and flips over. We will put a video on next time with him rolling.
