flash back to Halloween :)

Reasons for not posting recently: 1-pictures didn't upload. 2-Tyler's computer died. 3-Went to Sandpoint for Thanksgiving. 4- My laptop died leaving us with no computers. But I am now posting as much as I can since the last post, so enjoy!

Happy super late late Halloween! Quick update on that...Tayden LOVED it!!! He would knock on the door and immediately say "Trick or Treat" before they even opened it.  He would also try to follow the person into his or her house when they went to get the candy. Haha.  We think it's time to teach him 'Stranger Danger.'  Tayden chose to dress up like a fireman with his bright yellow jacket and firefighter hat.   We dressed him up and headed into the night.  It was actually really nice weather, surprising for our first Halloween in Seattle .  We hit up 8 houses and he got 38 pieces of candy, no joke!!! We figured out the best way to trick or treat: you go to all of the houses that only get a few trick-or-treaters and they give you a handfuls of candy instead of just one piece, and we met some of our lovely neighbors.  Once we got back to our house we let Tayden have one piece of candy.  He chose a dum-dum (small lollipop) and he was content for the night.  He also had a small bite of a reeses and another small bite of a 3 musketeers, but he mainly wanted that lollipop.  He was up in his bed for about an hour and a half, but we decided it was because of the excitement, not the sugar.  It was a really fun Halloween.

Tayden loved Halloween and all of the decorations.  He still says Happy Halloween along with Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year.

We had a blast playing in leaves for Tayden's first time.  Fall here is so beautiful!

One of our biggest adventures was POTTY TRAINING! Which was actually pretty easy.  He picked it up quickly and loves his big boy underwear :) He likes to show them off too, but we decided him showing them off online might not be a great idea.

We still love going to the aquarium and touching the star fish and the anemones.

We keep a fire going quite often in our house. It keeps the playroom nice and warm. :)

One of Tayden's secret hiding places.  One day I couldn't find him until I heard giggling coming from this cabinet.  This kid is always entertaining!

These are some of our awesome missionaries! Tayden loves having them over and always asks the next day when they are coming back.  One of his favorite songs is "I Hope They Call Me On A Mission." He sings it all the time.

Hopefully I can post a couple more 'catch-up ' blogs in the next few days! Hope everyone is having a wonderful Christmas season!

Happy 2nd birthday Taydster!!!

Tayden had his 2nd birthday on Saturday and he absolutely LOVED it! Friends, cake, ice cream, and...
(Tyler was demoted to the kids' table.  Yup...one too many spills.)

CHIPS! Life doesn't get any better than this! :)

 Today (his actual birthday):
Tayden helped me make his cake.  He loves to help me do everything in the kitchen and so far everything has turned out pretty delicious.

He is so funny to watch as he opens his presents.  He carefully pulls the paper off and makes sure it's all off before he looks at the present.  He got some amazing animals from the "barn" so now he has his own farm.  He was so excited and lined them all up in a row. He loves to carry them around with him.

He also got a crazy marble obstacle course and thinks it is amazing! Tyler and his brother Ryan had a great time putting it together.  I had to remind them it is actually Tayden's present :)

Happy Birthday our amazing little/big two year old! We have been so blessed by this little kid.  He has brought so much laughter and excitement into our world.  He has helped us remember how much we love trucks, trains, cars, animals, marbles, and much more.  We love our Tayden.

catching up...like usual :)

(I apologize in advance for the ridiculous amount of pictures, but if you read this you will be all caught up on the Millers!) August was too much fun to remember to blog, sorry, but I did try!  So after a week in Boise with the Boyd crew Tyler drove back to Seattle for work (lame, but we are thankful he has a job).  We had way too much fun in Boise with all of the cousins and my siblings.

We went to a water park,

we went paddle-boarding,

we jumped on the tramp with the sprinkler,
and played in the hose (and we went swimming a lot).  Basically we LOVE the water! Tayden would sit in the water by the hose and squirt people when they came close.  He thought it was hilarious.

We did an ropes course, which was extremely fun! We mainly tried to look ridiculous and succeeded quite well.  It wasn't hard with this crew.

Diaper Party! Love those bellies!

We attempted to play frisbee golf.  We found out that Tayden is almost as good as I am.  I am terrible.  Tayden would carry the frisbee and put it into the basket.

We fed some crazy ducks and geese.  Luckily no one was bitten.

Tayden, Avery, Isaac, and Ellie= best cousins

Sadly the reunion ended but then we went somewhere just as awesome...Sandpoint!!! We spent a week exploring North Idaho with the Millers.  Tayden's favorite thing was to go to the animal barn with Grandma (Suzy) and feed the chickens, pet the barn cats, and chase the sheep, goats, and alpaca.  He also loves Sam, the dog, and now calls every black dog he sees "Sam."  He loved riding the lawn mower and the 4-wheeler too.  Too bad he won't be raised on a farm, because I think he would be a great farm boy.

Riding a pony at the fair, the lawn mower with Indie, and a 4-wheeler with McCall.
He loved them all!

Annika, Tayden, and Camille at a stop on our bike ride.

We had to stop and watch the train on our bike ride also, always.

Tayden's sad excuse for picking blueberries.  He ate so many and loved it! It was really fun.

Sprinkler under the tramp Taydster and Tayder the Skater.

Story time with GPT and Grandma.

Our little sailor out on the lake. We love the boat.

Tayden, Camille, and Corinne. Those McClellands are so cute!

We made it back safely to Seattle on the 30th and we are enjoying our new house.
Lots of pictures to come soon of the house!

Our family is complete!!!!!

OUR FAMILY IS COMPLETE! My twin brothers are home and all of us siblings are together!!!!  They came home yesterday from Bolivia and Colombia.  They both served a two year mission for our church.  It feels soooooo GREAT to have them home! We have already had late night chats, dog piles, and we have heard some amazing mission stories.  WE LOVE THESE BOYS!!!!!!!!

Jason and Michael enjoying their first real taste of sugar in America.

 YEAH ELDERS!

Ellie, Tayden, and Avery taking a ride on a blanket.
DOG PILE!
The boys brought us all matching soccer jerseys from their countries, thus all of the yellow from Colombia and green from Bolivia.

Life is so great right now :)
