flash back to Halloween :)

Reasons for not posting recently: 1-pictures didn't upload. 2-Tyler's computer died. 3-Went to Sandpoint for Thanksgiving. 4- My laptop died leaving us with no computers. But I am now posting as much as I can since the last post, so enjoy!

Happy super late late Halloween! Quick update on that...Tayden LOVED it!!! He would knock on the door and immediately say "Trick or Treat" before they even opened it.  He would also try to follow the person into his or her house when they went to get the candy. Haha.  We think it's time to teach him 'Stranger Danger.'  Tayden chose to dress up like a fireman with his bright yellow jacket and firefighter hat.   We dressed him up and headed into the night.  It was actually really nice weather, surprising for our first Halloween in Seattle .  We hit up 8 houses and he got 38 pieces of candy, no joke!!! We figured out the best way to trick or treat: you go to all of the houses that only get a few trick-or-treaters and they give you a handfuls of candy instead of just one piece, and we met some of our lovely neighbors.  Once we got back to our house we let Tayden have one piece of candy.  He chose a dum-dum (small lollipop) and he was content for the night.  He also had a small bite of a reeses and another small bite of a 3 musketeers, but he mainly wanted that lollipop.  He was up in his bed for about an hour and a half, but we decided it was because of the excitement, not the sugar.  It was a really fun Halloween.

Tayden loved Halloween and all of the decorations.  He still says Happy Halloween along with Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year.

We had a blast playing in leaves for Tayden's first time.  Fall here is so beautiful!

One of our biggest adventures was POTTY TRAINING! Which was actually pretty easy.  He picked it up quickly and loves his big boy underwear :) He likes to show them off too, but we decided him showing them off online might not be a great idea.

We still love going to the aquarium and touching the star fish and the anemones.

We keep a fire going quite often in our house. It keeps the playroom nice and warm. :)

One of Tayden's secret hiding places.  One day I couldn't find him until I heard giggling coming from this cabinet.  This kid is always entertaining!

These are some of our awesome missionaries! Tayden loves having them over and always asks the next day when they are coming back.  One of his favorite songs is "I Hope They Call Me On A Mission." He sings it all the time.

Hopefully I can post a couple more 'catch-up ' blogs in the next few days! Hope everyone is having a wonderful Christmas season!
