For Tayden's first Easter experience he was able to have TWO Easter egg hunts. Let's just say he LOVED them both!
His very first egg.
(The eggs were empty and he only got one piece of candy later, but he didn't care. All he wanted were the eggs :)
The weather was absolutely gorgeous and sunny. Perfect for hunting for eggs. We thought that living in Seattle meant that we would have to have our egg hunts inside, but we were way off.
He would hold every egg up high and show us what he had found, which usually meant he would drop another one. It was so cute watching him figure out how to hold as many eggs as possible. I would offer to hold some and eventually he would take me up on it, but he always had to have one is his left hand and one under his left arm. He used his right hand to pick the eggs up.
Easter egg hunt number 2!!! He was so excited to get to do it all over again :)
He enjoyed this so much that we might have to have a monthly egg hunt. Maybe the first of every month or something because once a year just won't cut it.

TA-DA!
The "No mom, I did not just swipe the last bite of dessert from off of your plate that we were sharing.
I think it was dad." face. Gotta love it.
We are teaching Tayden about Jesus and why we celebrate Easter but we have a ways to go. Although he can point out Jesus and say "Gee." Close enough for now :)
