WE HAVE A HOUSE!!!

Well, the truth is, we have had our house since JULY 1st!!! We have been so incredibly busy though, so I forgot to update our blog.  So let me back up a little bit... We had to be out of our apartment by the end of June and we still weren't able to get into our house.  We have some amazing friends, the Quicks, who invited us to take over their basement.  It was like a three day party! We had so much fun and we are still friends :)
We played outside in their playhouse, Kylee read books to Tayden, and the three little monkeys even had a blast in the bath.

 On Monday, July 1st, we signed the official papers and we moved into our new house!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 Tayden absolutely loves his new house! He loves running outside and running up and down the hall yelling "Too Fast!!!"  He has so much room, he even has a playroom and a yard!

 

 Like I said earlier...YARDWORK! We hate ivy!

  

 Here is the partially-mowed side lawn.  Some of the 'grass' was up to my waist!

  

Some amazing things about our house:

• Right across the street there is a beautiful horse that we can see from our window! (above)
• Also from the window we can see the garbage man, the mailman and tons of big trucks :)
• It has a pool (that is more like a frog habitat at the moment)
• 4 bedrooms (for guests!)
• Playroom!
• large yard
• Huge trees in our yard, which make it feel like we aren't close to a big city
• 
  

We celebrated our first holiday in our house already! Happy 4th of July! Tayden loved the sparklers and most of the fireworks.  He hated the ridiculously loud ones.  We didn't stay very long to watch big ones because by the time it got dark Tayden was exhausted and ready to go to bed.  We will call it a "mostly successful" adventure.

 Christian (Tyler's cousin) is still staying with us and Tayden still calls him "Chit-chen Banjo."

Tayden still makes all sorts of hilarious faces :)
